WEIGH DOWN DIET week 9

Okay, I've been struggling for two weeks now. For whatever reason, the stronghold I thought I had overcome with food is back. Unfortunately, I am up three pounds. (I am hoping some of this has to do with Mother Nature and her unwelcomed arrival....but nonetheless, I'm up on the scales...not down).

I will be praying much more this week. Spending more time on my knees.

2 Corinthians 4:8

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but no in despair, persecuted, but not abandonded; struck down, but not destroyed.

  1. Keep up the good work Jaime.

And while your at it lose a couple of "lbs" for me.

Since I lost 34 lbs last year my weight has stayed the within 2 or 3 lbs for the last 6 months.
Maybe I weight what I suppose to weigh?

I guess I would rather be a semi plump Old Geezer
than a skinny under nourished Old Geezer

  2. Hi Jaime...don't give up honey! Depending on your metabolism, I lost 3-4kg eating Muesli for breakfast with blueberries, a coffee mid morning, mixture of melon (watermelon, rockmelon) with greek yoghurt, a piece of fruit, some mixed nuts and a coffee or tea for afternoon, then a middle size plate for tea!

I know I love to hear other peoples eating plans, so I just thought I would share mine, sometimes it just helps to know what others are doing!

    Lot's of love! xxx

  3. Remember, you STILL LOST 17!!!!!!!! You are still ahead of the ballgame. It isn't a jog to the top, you hike up, you slide back a little, you walk up, slide a little....

Or in Mommy Language, it's like Chutes and Ladders with the scale.

  4. Jaime, I'm walking with you and praying for you! Our fast will loose strongholds and break yokes. I'm trusting Him for that! His word doesn't fail.

Periodic weight gains are normal - dont' beat yourself up over that.

  5. I love what MammaMindy said...Chutes and Ladders with the scale.

I'm ready for some ladders myself....LOL, that's funny, ladders implies "winning" but also with "increasing". LOL. To be clear, I'm ready to lose some weight!! :D

17 pounds is no small feat. You're doing great. Don't let that scale tell you otherwise!

  6. Satan will use anything to distract you from the growth that you have achieved so far. Resolve to continue to make JESUS LORD and he will meet you right where you are! In the meantime, when these times hit (since this is a late post) go to God. He is the ultimate "garbage collector" and he doesn't recycle!
